World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth – Rise of Azshara free content update available for download


Blizzard has announced that Rise of Azshara, the next major free content update for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, is available for download. According to the team, this content update is packed with many new features, including the addition of Essences to the Heart of Azeroth system, two new zones to explore, Nazjatar and Mechagon, Heritage Armor for tauren and gnomes, new Benthic gear, a raid that takes players into the depths of Azshara’s Eternal Palace and much more.

Going into more details, the Rise of Azshara content update will enhance Heart of Azeroth which will get a boost with the help of MOTHER, and players can seek out new ways to customize their powers through Essences. Players will also be able to explore the ultimate tinker’s paradise and discover the mechanical marvels of Mechagon, and get ready to face King Mechagon in Operation Mechagon, the new Mythic-difficulty (for now) dungeon.

Players will also delve into the depths of Nazjatar, capital city of the naga, in an all-new full zone deep beneath the sea, as well as face Face Queen Azshara’s most devoted champions in an epic new raid. A new type of gear that can be collected in Nazjatar—and can help you stand against the rising threat of Queen Azshara, and a new pet battle dungeon has been added.
