Unofficial Modding Tools released for Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has just been released on the PC, and modder ‘rfuzzo’ has released some unofficial modding tools for it. This initial version of these modding tools support extracting and decompression of archive files. Furthermore,  this release also contains an experimental and WIP file-viewer.

What this basically means is that you can now decompress and extract the game’s files. Obviously, this will open a lot of modding possibilities. And yes, a nude mod will certainly appear in the next few days. For what it’s worth, there is an Adult Nude Icons mod that you can download right now.

You can download this initial version of the unofficial modding tools from here. Naturally, we’ll be informing you about the best mods that will be coming out for this latest RPG.

Do note that our PC Performance Analysis for Cyberpunk 2077 will go live (most likely) this weekend. You can also expect our Ray Tracing and DLSS benchmarks in the next couple of days.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. With Valve releasing an update to Proton specifically to get CP2077 to work on Linux, can Linux be included in the performance analysis?

  2. Unfortunately it has a problem with the remapping of the keyboard, it does not let me use the directional keys for the movement of the character, yes, I am left-handed…

It’s the only problem I’ve had so far

  3. Please mod out the AVX use at the beginning of cutscenes.. If there’s a way to disable or skip this somehow, it would help a lot of people. Especially when the game runs better than consoles, but the cutscene uses AVX as it switches into the cutscene, and that’s the only time it’s used.
