you’re doing god’s work John
This guy is doing the work of saints. Slowly returning the game to what it should have looked like 2 years ago.
This guy’s level of quality is insane. The textures look nearly IDENTICAL in style to the original game but with significantly higher quality.
This is one of those mods that are simply a must have.
That is the most valuable point; that the textures are pretty much identical, not just some whimsical replacement.
Want convinced by the anchors though… They look too ‘generated’.
I wonder what is the performance hit for lower cards, now I have a 980m and game on medium…
From the mod’s decsription page: “It mainly depends on your video card and its VRAM, but generally modification doesn’t hit performance.”
From what folk have commented the mod has next to no effect on frame-rate provided your card has sufficient VRAM.
Not sure if 4gb of Vram it is enough..
I can’t give a definitive answer on that as I no longer have the game installed but I’d have thought 4GB VRAM should be sufficient at 1080p.
Huh, that is crazy! Very cool, man he deserves props for his work on the mod.
Impressive.
It’s great to see someone putting so much effort into this. Too bad I can’t make myself finish the game because I’m stuck in Novigrad and dying of boredom. I guess I’ll just put it on hold and come back to it later.
I bet that video is going down well with the peasantry if any console-centric sites have dared to feature it!
Props to Halk Hogan for continuing to improve an already stellar mod.
Impressive work; the stonework is particularly amazing.
It work for Blood&Wine region too?
The mod darkens a lot of textures too much
