The team behind the unofficial PC port for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Ship of Harkinian, has released an unofficial PC port for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. This is the second unofficial PC port of this Nintendo 64 Zelda game, allowing you to play it natively on the PC. So, make sure to check it out. It’s a really cool project.
This second PC port of Majora’s Mask is called 2Ship2Harkinian. According to the devs, the entire game is 100% playable and finishable. Plus, it has a few enhancements and additions.
2Ship2Harkinian supports high framerates and widescreen resolutions. You can change many graphic settings, just like in Ship of Harkinian. It also lets you invert the camera controls, has autosaving, and a free look mode. You can also make your character climb faster and even play as Kafei.
And that’s not all. This second PC version of Majora’s Mask has faster mask transformations and a bow reticle for easier aiming. It will also work with both N64 1.0 USA and GameCube USA ROMs. Plus, you can speed up text and hold B to skip to the next textbox even faster.
In short, 2Ship2Harkinian appears to be just as good as the first PC port of Majora’s Mask. The only difference between them is that the first PC port was recompiled, whereas this is a full decompilation. This means that the devs of this second PC port should be able to add custom features much easier. But for the average user, there won’t be any major differences. So, if you’ve been playing the previous PC port of Majora’s Mask, you can skip this one.
You can go ahead and download 2Ship2Harkinian from this link. As said, you’ll need a ROM of the original N64 The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask game.
Since I mentioned Zelda 64: Recompiled, I should note that it has received a new update. This update adds support for analog camera and it improves the blur effects at high framerates. It also introduces some new options. Those interested can download it from here. At the end of the article, you can also find a trailer for it.
I cannot stress enough how amazing these unofficial PC ports of old console games are. They are exactly what we’d be getting if Nightdive got its hands on them. Realistically, that will never happen. So, I am glad modding teams have been able to complete these complex projects and share them for free.
Speaking of unofficial PC ports of classic console games, I also recommend downloading Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64 and Jak and Daxter. All of them are great, and they all support 60fps.
Have fun!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. The game normies will say they love to look cool on the internet.
Fvck off!
Um, what?
“popular game is overrated” a contrarian take as cold as time.
lol, what? did you forget to take your meds again?
durkadurka & dagoat are lovers!!
Played this crap when it came out it was always an ok game, just as the other lads said before me.
But the social media with their pile of moröns and their fake nostalgia, makes them look at this and go awe.
I’ll repeat myself… FÜCK OFF WITH THIS CR4P!
who is forcing you to play it? maybe stick with your visual novels.
I didn’t ask for your opinion either.
^^
dry your eyes princess. maybe you would enjoy life more if you weren’t such a narcissistic loser.
Guess you need attention, right?
Gonna give you some so you can sleep better.
I personally would rather not play video games at all than play a nintendo game. I thought botw was okay though.
Only zelda game i played from start to finish, minus some side content and DLC.
I thought it got repetitive fast, what pulled you back to finish a game like that?
I did finish the main quest, but time went on and i moved on.
It’s an ok series, but i find it you have to play as a young un in order to fully appreciate it, or play it by the time it was released. I played the original, Link to the past, minish cap and BoTW, only finished the last one.
This one actually works, unlike the recompilation, which just crashes on even slightly outdated drivers or Windows versions.
Working great on the Steam Deck.
Also, what’s wrong with updating drivers or Windows these days?
what’s wrong with using the version I’ve got? Newer versions of Windows have more taskbar ads and AI rubbish. Newer drivers are locked to newer versions; there was a time when you didn’t need to update drivers all the time
