The team behind Ship of Harkinian, one of the unofficial PC ports of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, has revealed some new features that it has added to its latest version.
Currently, there are two unofficial PC ports of The Legenda of Zelda Ocarina of Time. The first one is Ship of Harkinian and the other one is Open Ocarina.
According to the team, Ship of Harkinian now supports framerates up to 250fps. Moreover, it comes with a Nintendo 64 mode for all those that want to re-live this game in its original form.
Additionally, the game is now compatible with WiiU and Mac OS.
And that’s not all. This latest version of Ship of Harkinian, called Rachael Alfa, includes a free camera mode, an item randomizer and numerous new cheat codes.

I have a friend that is a member of the PC master race and his wiener gets hard when he can talk me down whenever I mention that I sometimes prefer a controler.
3d games usually benefit from mouse controlled camera. The most common criticism between early 3d games up to the tail end of Ps2 generation was camera controls, when FPS games introduced a proper mouse controlled camera, that was a game changer but it would still take a decade before mass adoption. Nowadays those issues are mostly fixed for controllers, altought mouse is still superior.
Games like Dark Souls reignited the debate between mouse vs controller not because the controller is superior, but because nip devs can’t port a PC game if their lives depend on it, it took 2 major releases for them to get it right. I tried playing Demon’s Souls with the PS3 controller and frankly i didn’t find all that great, it certainly didn’t help in regards to difficulty, the game probably is harder to play on controllers and FPS below 30.
It is kind of ironic that in order to emulate those games you need a controller, because you can’t properly fix the controls to keyboard and have a proper mouse controlled camera, altought in this case, it can be fixed, since it is a port.
m+k is good, oot’s z targeting and pre-programmed camera movements are good, dual analog stick movement is the worst. please don’t give us that.
