A lot of gamers were expecting to hear or see something about The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 2021. However, and as Todd Howard admitted, the game is still in a very early development stage.
As Todd told The Telegraph, gamers and media should think of TES6 as being in a design phase.
“It’s good to think of The Elder Scrolls 6 as still being in a design [phase]… but we’re checking the tech: ‘Is this going to handle the things we want to do in that game?’ Every game will have some new suites of technology so Elder Scrolls 6 will have some additions on to Creation Engine 2 that that game is going to require.”
It’s obvious that Bethesda will be focusing on finishing and supporting Starfield for the next couple of years. The team also has to maintain support for both TES Online and Fallout 76. So yeah, don’t expect to be playing The Elder Scrolls 6 anytime soon!

Don’t expect TES6 & GTAVI before 2024/2025, at the same time as we speak don’t forget that the rainbow missions & quests are on the making.
wasn’t expecting to hear anything about this game. They did say the teaser was just to confirm the game and they said it was far far off from coming out. So whatever. I wouldn’t expect to see anything till at least 2023. Possibly released 2025 at the earliest.

gta vi will release near 2029, as long as dumb kids constantly buy macrotransaction for gta online they will not release next game in series.
As for tesVI i would expect it around 2030 too, seems like they want to make starfield next big thing so they will milk it before making next game
Only reason they dropped TESVI and Starfield teasers at E3 2018 because the only other thing they had to show were mobile games, some of which have been cancelled by now.

What’s there to design? It’s going to be Skyrim 2, we already had Fallout Skyrim and we will soon have Skyrim in Space, this is the obvious evolution!
Just completely remove the RPG elements and add some gimmicks to the game and voilá, Bethesda perfection.

No “The Team”, i.e. BGS (Bethesda Game Studios) “Maryland” does not have to maintain TES Online, which has never been anything to do with BGS, and was created, and is still maintained by Zenimax Online Studios, with zero help from BGS),
Fallout 76 which was created, and is still maintained by BattleCry Studios, with hardly any help from BGS “Maryland”, until the launch disaster unfolded. Only 6 month before F76’s release was BattleCry Studios rebranded as BGS “Austin”, so Todd Howard could claim F76 was a BGS project, at the “preorder F76 now”, 16×the detail E3 sh*t show.
BGS “Maryland”, have been working on Starfield almost exclusively since Fallout 4 DLC was finished, and TES 6 is still in the preplanning, concept art stage, and will not really start actual coding development until all the Starfield DLC is finished.

Hardly surprising they work primarily on starfield, it’s only natural they utilize whatever parts of the dev team that’s idle on other projects along with keeping what’s upcoming in mind when developing the tools/engines.
