DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined feature

Square Enix Removed Denuvo From Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

Square Enix has just removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined was released on PC in February 2026. This means that it took six months to remove it.

In Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, the characters designed by famous manga artist Akira Toriyama have been transformed into a cute 3D art style. The environments and dungeons are also rebuilt with a unique diorama-style look, making the world of Dragon Quest feel like a beautiful, hand-crafted model come to life.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined stays true to the original story but makes it easier to follow with a smoother, more streamlined adventure. Besides the main story, players can enjoy fun side quests, extra stories, and minigames. You’ll unlock and explore new worlds by finding fragments and completing tablets. Each world is full of exciting places, like busy towns, tough dungeons, and fun quests, giving you plenty to do and explore.

The turn-based battle system in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined has been updated to feel more fun and exciting. The new vocation system lets you do cool things. Moonlighting will let you use two vocations (jobs) at the same time. Let Loose is a special move you can use when a character gets pumped up. Plus, Monster Master is a new vocation that gives you the power to summon strong monsters to fight your enemies. These changes will make battles more dynamic and thrilling than ever.
