Sci-fi Dark Souls-inspired action RPG, Hellpoint, releases on July 30th

Cradle Games and publisher tinyBuild have announced that Hellpoint will release on July 30th. Hellpoint is a sci-fi Dark Souls-inspired action RPG, set in the aftermath of a massive quantum cataclysm called the Merge.

In Hellpoint, players will embark on a soul conjuring journey aboard a derelict space station. Players will also figure out the twisted series of events that led to an occult quantum catastrophe.

Players can craft weapons and special skills, use tactic and reflexes to outwit their enemies. Additionally, they will learn to avoid death lurking around every corner.

Here are also the game’s key features:

  • Souls-like gameplay in a unique setting: Explore the derelict space station of Irid Novo and face bizarre enemies with a tight and unforgiving combat system.
  • Occult space story: Blending science and fantasy, the intensely atmospheric dark sci-fi setting will keep you searching for answers.
  • Dynamic World: The Quantic System acts as a dungeon master, slightly transforming the game world every time you die and triggering events as the station revolves around the black hole.
  • Jump-in co-op and PvP multiplayer: Ask a friend to press Start to join a couch co-op session or call for assistance online. Hellpoint offers a full, uninterrupted co-op story with shared loot drops.

In order to celebrate this announcement, tinyBuild released a brand new trailer that you can find below. This trailer highlights the game’s co-op features.
