Misery Development has released a brand new version of its Misery mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call Of Pripyat. In case you didn’t know, Misery is a full concept modification of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat that touches every game aspect including textures, sfx, music, weapons, A.I., items, weather, mutants, difficulty and much much more.
In this new version of MISERY, players will no longer need to haul packs full of heavy damaged loot back to base. Using either improvised tools or highly specialized kits players will now be able break down weapons, armor, and even electronics into small and large parts, debris, fabric, etc.
Moreover, these kits and tools can be used to bring a looted weapon from zero condition all the way up to 100% enabling players to bring the highly damaged carcass they found of their favorite model shooter up to glistening pristine condition without spending all their hard earned cash.

It’s amazing that games don’t even need in-game footage anymore to look realistic.
Amazing what you can achieve with some ENB settings…Luckily, we didn’t get to see any gameplay footage. Who would want to see that…
I think gameplay footage is overrated. What’s more important is realism.
I decided to try it since I didn’t play CoP for like 6 years.
It looks surprisingly good for such an old game but unfortunately it still runs on one core, freezes regularly and the ingame ui doesn’t scale with the resolution so I can’t read anything.
