Stardock has announced that Offworld Trading Company is free to play starting today on Steam until May 6th, 1PM ET. Offworld Trading Company is a fast-paced economic real-time strategy from Civilization IV lead Designer, Soren Johnson.
This free to play offer features both the single-player campaign and the multiplayer modes. Furthermore, the game comes with a 50% discount during this free to play period.
In Offworld Trading Company, market forces are your weapons, not guns or bombs. According to its description, the real-time player driven market is your sword and your shield here. In order to win, you will need to make tough choices on what resources to acquire, what goods to build and sell, how to interact with the planet’s thriving underworld, and what stocks to acquire and when.
