Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer is free to play this weekend

Activision has announced that the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: WWII is free to play this weekend. According to the team, all progression will carry over from free trial to full title once purchased and all inventory items and unlockables will carry over from free trial to full title once purchased.

According to its description, Call of Duty: WWII’s multiplayer marks a return to original, boots-on-the ground Call of Duty gameplay. Authentic weapons and traditional run-and-gun action aim to “immerse you” in a vast array of World War II-themed locations.

Activision is also discounting the standard edition of the game by 35%, so you can purchase it if you find its multiplayer worth enough (it also has a cool single-player mode, though I’m pretty sure that most COD fans will concentrate on its online mayhem)!
