NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 596.21 WHQL driver offers the best gaming experience in the latest PC games. So, let’s dive in.
The NVIDIA GeForce 596.21 WHQL driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new games supporting DLSS 4.5 tech, including PRAGMATA and NTE (Neverness to Everness). It also has official support for Windrose, which uses DLSS 4.
From what I can see, there is only one game fix. To be more precise, the driver fixes the random stutters that could occur in Arknights: Endfield. And that’s it.
In other words, if you are not currently playing Arknights: Endfield, you can skip this driver. To be honest, I don’t believe there will be any major performance improvements in the games NVIDIA has listed (compared to the NVIDIA GeForce 595.97 driver). So, if your PC is working fine, you should simply stick with it.
If you want to upgrade your driver, you can do so by downloading it from this link. Below, you can also find its full changelog.
