NVIDIA has released a new beta driver for its graphics cards. According to the green team, this driver is optimal for both Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and Elite: Dangerous, and comes with a fix for the color range issue that affected users with HDMI.

I read on the Ubisoft forums that this driver improves performance with Assassins Creed Unity by 5-10fps.
I can confirm i got about 7-8 FPS more depending on the area getting 45 average now 1440p maxed out with sweetfx minus soft shadows on single 970
it does even in congested areas with everything on ultra I get a avg of 42/45fps as for the performance patch I have not updated it yet
3D Compatibility Mode = driver-based 3D? I guess this means that Nvidia 3D Vision is nearly dead. New games simply don’t support N3DV so now the drivers ‘fake it’.
I’m going to test this in Far Cry 4 and get back to you.
