Nobody Wants to Die feature-1

Nobody Wants to Die is a new detective noir adventure game in Unreal Engine 5

PLAION and Critical Hit Games have announced a new detective noir adventure game that will be powered by Unreal Engine 5, Nobody Wants to Die. This new title will be coming to PC in 2024, and below you can find its debut in-engine trailer.

In this interactive noir story, players will lead the investigation using advanced technology, as Detective James Karra risks it all in pursuit of a serial killer targeting the city’s elite.

Players will investigate crime scenes using Karra’s time manipulation augmentation and advanced technology to reconstruct events leading up to each murder. They’ll also uncover clues that lead to the horrifying truth behind the murders.

The developers claim that the game will explore the dangers of transhumanism and immortality. As such, you’ll have to navigate the lines of right and wrong in a society where death is a distant memory.

From what we can see, the game will be using a first-person perspective. Critical Hit Games also plans to utilize the key features of UE5 to provide an amazing presentation. And, from these first screenshots, we can definitely say that Nobody Wants to Die will be a looker.

There is currently no specific ETA on when the game will come out (other than a vague 2024 date). Plus, PLAION hasn’t shared the game’s PC requirements. So, my guess is that we’re looking at a game that will come out at the end of the year.

Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
