No Rest for the Wicked is a game I’m really looking forward to. And today, Moon Studios revealed its PC system requirements for its upcoming Early Access phase.
No Rest for the Wicked is described as a visceral, precision action RPG. Basically, think of it as an isometric Diablo-like game with the combat of Dark Souls and the art style of Trine. Or at least that’s the vibes I got from it.
In No Rest for the Wicked, the combat will be deliberate and tactical with a health bar and stamina bar. The game will also have boss fights and a wide range of weapons. Each unique weapon will have different stats and enchantments to set them apart. Moreover, each weapon will have different runes which unlock combos.
To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56. The game will also require 35GB of free disk space, and the devs suggest using an SSD.
Moon Studios recommends using an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
As said, these PC requirements are for the game’s Early Access phase which will begin tomorrow. The minimum requirements are for gaming at 1080p with 30fps on Performance Mode. On the other hand, the recommended requirements are for 1080p/60fps on Quality Settings.
Finally, Moon Studios confirmed that the game will not have any microtransactions. Not only that but its single-player experience will not require an online connection or any anti-cheat software.
