Even more Ansel supported games? Nice. Maybe it’s a sign that NVIDIA doesn’t want to neglect this cool photo mode anymore.
There are like 50 right now but the feature should be mandatory in all games that have any Nvidia support. And even in some that have it, it’s kind of crap – like Shadow of War has its own photo mode but if you use Ansel then it breaks Steam Overlay.
Shadowplay already worked in it as it does with all games. Do they mean Shadowplay Highlights? The first time I started the game it asked me if i wanted to enable highlights but iv never seen it save any gameplay.
Already finished the game and enjoyed it somewhat but I doubt ill replay it.
A) Shadowplay hasn’t existed for years. It’s been called Nvidia Share since like October ’16.
B) Share doesn’t work on everything. The only way to get it to work with Vulkan or OpenGL games, period, is to start recording before the game actually opens.
C) Not sure why the word ShadowPlay still exists in the interface in the highlights section.
Still called Shadowplay on GFE for me, im sure im not the only one. OGL can be recorded in desktop capture mode.
ShadowPlay technically hasn’t been renamed since Nvidia hasn’t bothered to force the change. It’s likely due to everybody calling it ShadowPlay that Nvidia doesn’t see the need to change it. Heck even the Wikipedia page seems rather confused on the name. The title doesn’t go in line with the sentences. Personally I prefer the name ShadowPlay since it has quite an edge to it. And I like all things shadow apparently lol.
1.31 interdouced a lot of bugs
such as being unable to riposte with a mace/axe
reduced random encounters to a ZERO %
and now when you fast travel on the map the fog of war doesn’t dissipates, you have to travel by yourself to “clean” the map from it
all these terrible bugs/changes now make the game much worse
but at least they fixed a bunch of broken uncompleteable quests
just updated my Nvidia Geforce “experince” it F**KED up my entire system
my GPU’s boost clock went from 1329 to frikin 1519!
and now my FPS dying in-game
what the F Nvidia, not to mention it resetted my screen FPS cap from 100 FPS to 60
and i had to change it back
how do i fix this $hit?! never updating ever again!
About damn time.
The game should never have shipped without Ansel in the first place. All games that carry any Nvidia logo for any reason should be mandatory to feature functional Ansel and GFE features out of the box.
Not worth the trouble. Your best bet is to ask Nvidia but probably not worth their time either.
