Netflix has announced that it will partner with Sublimation on Dragon’s Dogma, an original anime series based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name. According to the press release, and based on Capcom’s action RPG set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series.
The story will follow a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. The animated adaptation of Dragon’s Dogma will be an action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.
There is currently no ETA on when this anime adaptation will come out but we hope that it will be at least as good as the Castlevania series. Netflix surprised everyone with its anime adaptation of Castlevania, which pleased both anime and fans of Konami’s classic platformer.
