Ghost Games has revealed some new information about the next Need for Speed game. The development team has confirmed that it will be coming out this year, and that it will feature a proper offline single-player mode.
As Ghost Games claimed:
“So, when release day rolls around for the next Need for Speed, you will be able to play through a single player experience completely offline. Before you ask, and we know you will, this does mean you will be able to pause the game.”
Customization will also play a strong role and will not go away, and the new Need for Speed game will also feature cop chases.
Our guess is that EA will showcase this new Need for Speed game at this year’s E3, so stay tuned for more!

Underground 3 or gtfo.
The last years game was apparently an underground successor. A worthless successor which barely inherited anything worthwhile from it’s father.
I never understood fanboys who think that if they make sequel of very old game it’s gonna be gueranteed good.
It’s a sign of bleak times when you rejoice that a single player game will feature offline mode and the ability to pause.
Sad True 🙁
Quite pitiful indeed.
Also that 60fps is now a feature of PC games and every announcement comes with “PC version will support 60fps and unlocked resolution”. *sigh* bleak times indeed.
Quake III allowed you to play at 500fps if you had the hardware and the ocular capabilites.
Quake 3 also didn’t tie the physic engine to the frame rate. And no one could reach that frame rate at the time of release.
Why do you specifically mention Quake III? Can’t all games with uncapped frame rates do this?
Will it still have cringe worthy live action!? Because I would prefer to cringe at CGI than live action.
This should not be news worthy.
BUt it is news
They had to learn the hard way. It’s like they are children
Shift 2 was such a solid game and it had a cockpit view. That game was made in 2011 and yet it’s still too hard to top it?
Shift is not what NFS is by blood.
underground please i want to tune my car to put LCD’s and speakers ,colors ,crazy rice rims, bumpers and neons also insane big spoilers
EA won’t be at E3, they will have their own event b4 E3 like last year.
Nope it’s alive, Comand and Conquer is DEAD
this is because they will be shutting down the servers, you know new one is on the way
yeah like they did for rivals which was online only too
OH WAIT they didnt do that
I love this logic. DO you really think game that has couple people left costs so much to maintain? You realize they will make more people hate franchise and lose mroe money if they do that?
Just get rid of the open world, or at least make it optional like it was in NFS Hot Pursuit. I hate having to spend time driving from one place to another just to start an event. This isn’t an RPG, I don’t need to grind along the way.
Last NFS has option to teleport to events. Open world needs to stay that’s what makes NFS great.
COD is alive, and it’s in top 5 of shooters.
