Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord’s Early Access Release Date and Price have been leaked

It appears that PCGamer has leaked the Early Access release date and price for Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord. According to the headline of a now deleted article, the game will come out in Early Access on March 31st.

Moreover, the Taleworlds Entertainment will be offering the game for $49.99.

Taleworlds Entertainment has not revealed any additional details about the content that will be available in the Early Access build. My guess is that the team will reveal more via a press release soon.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has been in development since the release of Warband in 2010 and features an all new engine, developed specifically for the game. The engine promises to open up exciting new possibilities for the game and vibrant modding community.

Furthermore, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord promises to advance the series meaningfully, in every aspect. Thus, the game will offer players variety in the way they can approach the game and achieve their goals.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. I love the mount & blade warband but and have around 680hrs in game but I dont know if 50$ for banner lord is right maybe it should have been 40 it is early access

    1. I believe in the “Movie Ticket Price” to value games. You pay $10 for 2.5hrs of intense entertainment (a level of entertainment where you easily forget the time) at the movies. If that’s the standard, games should provide at least 12 hrs of enjoyment (in the meat of the game) for $50, and of course, about that number of hours of filler in menus, tutorials, grinding, side-quests, etc.

$50 sounds fair for the number of weekends it’ll save you money compared to other activities.
