Marvel’s Avengers releases on September 4th and Square Enix revealed that the game will receive a massive 18GB Day-1 Update. According to the team, this update will be applied automatically to the game. This basically means that this patch will be part of the final digital version that will be available on Steam.
According to the dev team, the Day One Patch will include several updates and refinements. Additionally, the patch includes localization files for the game’s dialogue for 15 different languages. Furthermore, it will include lots of fixes, feedback, updates, and tuning from its Beta weekends.
As Square Enix noted:
“Over the last three weekends, millions of you have played the game for tens of millions of hours and killed hundreds of millions of AIM enemies. Your participation has been of immense value to us as we work to squash bugs, tune performance, and finalize game balance. We hope you will see and feel it when you play the final game.”
My guess is that the team won’t be able to address the game’s optimization issues when using 4K resolutions. Moreover, the team has not announced whether it plans to add support for NVIDIA’s DLSS tech. And, to be honest, this is a game that desperately needs some DLSS treatment.
Lastly, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at launch.

i want to know about the obsession about DLSS ?
explain it to me
why do you need it especially when it downscales the quality
it increases quality, not the other way round. You need to read up before saying nonsense
no,it doesn’t AA is not a graphic enhancer
you’re probably thinking of the early stages, DLSS has come a long way now

it doesn’t downscale the quality. you get the same visual fidelity with less resolution. it’s the only way you can turn on RTX effects.
how will get the same fidelity with less resolution
it is a dynamic scaling super sampling anti aliasing that renders some scenes in 1080 and then upscale it to 4k
So why isn’t this patch and all it does include NOT in the damn game at released? The game is a month away and no way the it takes them a whole month to do another build with the fixes included and send it to MS/Sony.
That is going to be part of a roadmap.
hehehehe
didn’t read; only came to say: 18 gb patch lol.
How about not make the game like Destiny.
