Marvel’s Avengers Beta Content detailed, gets new Beta Deep Dive video

Square Enix has detailed the content that will be available in the beta phase of Marvel’s Avengers. According to the publisher, Marvel’s Avengers Beta offers a slice of what you can expect from the full game, including the original narrative, co-op missions, hero & world progression, War Zone exploration, & more.

Marvel’s Avengers Beta will include several single-player missions, as well as a large selection of additional missions that can be played solo with your AI Avengers team or co-op with up to four players. In one mission, players take on the role of young Super Hero Kamala Khan and team up with Hulk as they infiltrate an AIM base in the forests of the American Pacific Northwest, hot on the trail of the last known location of JARVIS. Later they take the Quinjet to a remote War Zone in the frozen Russian tundra to uncover SHIELD secrets hidden in a deep underground bunker.

Scot Amos, Co-Head of Crystal Dynamics, said:

“We really want to give fans an in-depth look at what they can expect when they get their hands on the beta starting on August 7th. I couldn’t be more proud of the work the team has done getting Marvel’s Avengers ready for players, and can’t wait to see their reactions.”

The beta phase for Marvel’s Avengers will begin on August 14th for those that have pre-ordered the PC version. On August 21st, the beta program will be open to all PC players and run through August 23rd. Thus, it will give everyone the ability to play the game prior to its official launch.

Marvel’s Avengers will release on September 4th.

Enjoy!
