Maneater next-gen ray tracing features coming to the PC in early 2021

Tripwire has just announced that Maneater will be coming to next-gen consoles. Contrary to what Capcom did, though, the team has also announced that the new next-gen ray tracing effects will be also coming to the PC.

As the press release reads, the PC version will get updated with the next-gen ray tracing features in early 2021. Furthermore, Tripwire will provide more information on those enhancements in the next few months.

Maneater is a single-player, open-world action-RPG (ShARkPG) where you are the shark.

“Starting as a small bull shark pup players will have to survive the harsh world while eating their way up the ecosystem. To do this, you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies — both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate, because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends.”
