Epic Games and Tripwire Interactive have announced that Maneater is currently free to own on Epic Games Store. From today and until June 16th, PC gamers can visit its EGS page and acquire their free copy.
Maneater is a single-player, open-world action RPG where you assume the role of a shark.
Starting as a small shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem. To do this you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies – both human and wildlife.
Players will feed on humans and wildlife to grow their shark. Additionally, they can find shark loot to evolve their shark down multiple possible paths.
Lastly, we should note that even the EGS version of this game uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. We are mentioning this because a large number of games that had Denuvo on Steam released without it on EGS.
