JUMP FORCE officially releases in February 2019, four new playable characters announced

Bandai Namco has announced that JUMP FORCE will launch in February 2019, and has revealed 4 brand new playable characters that will be joining the game’s roster. These new characters are Yusuke and Toguro from the fan favourite classic manga Yu Yu Hakusho, as well as Kirua and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter.

Also announced were four brand new and original story characters designed by the one and only legendary manga artist, and creator of DRAGON BALL, Akira Toriyama.

Kirua is the third son of the Zoldyck family, a family of the most infamous and deadly assassins in the world. He was expected to join them, but instead chose to chase his own fate by running away from home to become a Hunter. Kurapika also had a troubled upbringing, being the sole surviving member of his clan. Both are strong fighters that value their friends and they’ll do anything to protect them!

These four new characters join Yugi Muto, protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! who was announced last week, who will also be a playable in the game fighting using his favourite summoned Duel Monsters cards.

A new real-world stage has also been unveiled, the Himeji Castle one of the most famous Japanese landmarks will become an arena for these characters to fight.
