Rockstar has released a new update for the PC version of GTA V. Although the team has not revealed yet the changelog for this latest update, PC gamers report that this patch fixes the game’s bugged ambient occlusion effect. Moreover, it appears that this new patch broke compatibility with Script Hook.
We don’t know whether Rockstar intentionally broke the ‘Script Hook’ compatibility or not.
Our guess is that Alexander’s mod takes into consideration the game’s version in order to function. Therefore, and since the game’s version has been changed, this mod may need minor adjustments in order to work properly with this latest version.
Here is hoping that Alexander Blade will fix it sooner than later.
We’ll be sure to update this post once we get our hands on its changelog.

The script hook thingy will be fixed soon, I’m sure.
On another note, who is the blond girl in the red bikini holding up the phone? The one in the loading screens and box art? Is she a character in the game?
Isn’t that the parody of lindsay lohan?
I don’t think they’re parodying anyone with that. Just a figure representing GTA’s California style. But yes, Lohan brought those desperate and preposterous claims. Looks nothing like her. If someone said I had to pick someone being parodied, I’d say Upton, but again it’s just random chick GTA art.
isnt the lawsuit enough already, and u go on accusing rockstar, siding with lohan with that comment 😛
You think that resembles Lohan? Are you f*cking serious.
It looks exactly like Kate Upton:

Settle down man. I’m only saying that because I have not seen this character in the game and remembered the lawsuit.
The lawsuit was over some fictional blonde celebrity in the game getting f*cked and you were spying on her taking video footage.
Ooooooh that one
There are better pictures on the internet of Kate Upton mate…someone told me anyways.
if you google it you can find the name of the model
I know, but it looks nothing like her because Rockstar decided halfway to base the girl off a known model AKA Kate Upton, though they didn’t contract her.
They made the giri in the drawing slimmer? They thought that Kate Upton looked a little fat? Man, those are some high standards…
They didn’t officially base it off Kate Upton, the slight differences are probably to avoid any legal action.
Kate Upton isn’t fat either, her stomach and abs aren’t very toned.
Well, I’m convinced.
If you google it you can find the name of the model.
Didn’t know the ambient occlusion was bugged.
When the hell was AO bugged? I played with the new patch, Anti Aliasing is still broken, there is still massive pop in and cars materializing 50 meters in front of you (even with the extended distance scaling maxed), there is still massive texture aliasing of the white road lines.
There was an almost invisible line across the screen that could be seen by certain angles. That’s what the patch fixed.
You know this was fixed?

Played a bunch just now, was doing the last mission (option C) and was driving the guy in my trunk as Trevor and halfway the game just stopped working.
Pre patch i was doing the same mission, finished it and it crashed while i was in the credits so the mission didn’t count for some reason.
There are still random crashes.
They still haven’t fixed the rectangle surrounding your character when you use Nvidia PCSS shadows.
No Anisotropic filtering fix?
EDIT: Ambient Occlusion has NOT been fixed and Rockstar are doing f*ck all about the cheaters
Kinda makes you wonder what they did for those 18 months.
polishing DRM 😀
nice one haha!
^ this is me everytime they announced a new delayed release date lol
The Nvidia guide has a workaround for ambient occlusion.
Still no fix for the f’ing self radio stutter??..
is anyone else having issues with story mode crashing upon initial launch? I never had the problem until 350.1, it will get to where the game is supposed to start playing, then freeze
Ambient Ooclusion stops working after all tabbing back into the game still.
