Grand Theft Auto IV iCEnhancer 4 & RevIVe Mod aims to improve performance and graphics

Hayssam Keilany, creator of iCEnhancer, is working on a new mod project for Grand Theft Auto 4, iCEnhancer 4 & RevIVe. According to Keilany, the iCEnhancer 4 & RevIVe Mod will improve the performance and quality of GTA IV.

Although there is no ETA on when this mod will come out, Keilany shared the following video. This video packs numerous in-game scenes, so it will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.

iCEnhancer is a mod that took the Internet by storm in the early 2010s. Its latest major version, 3.0, released in 2014, improving Sky, Clouds, and Tree Colors. In 2015, the modder started working on a brand new version that never came out.

iCEnhancer 4 & RevIVe Mod will feature Volumetric Fog, improved water effects, new trees, multi-layered clouds, high-quality reflections, improved night shadows and more.

Enjoy!

  1. Love the new mod! Not only did they put a lot of work into the mod but in the trailer as well ! My hats off for them.

  2. It always looks great in certain areas(and trailers) but many places it does not look right at all and quickly takes one out of the immersion.

  3. Only thing that truly improves GTA 4 performance is DXVK. Game is finally, FINALLY, no longer CPU bound regardless of hardware.

Playing the game maxed out, with FXAA/SMAA via ReShade and 120 fps at 1080p is a joy to behold. Or hell, 4K120 if you have the hardware.

      1. You can try DXVK on Crysis as well (not the Remaster). It should help there as well, both the DX9 and DX10 versions.
