Ghostbusters the video game feature

Ghostbusters Remastered rated in Korea for the PC, registered by Epic Games Korea

It appears that a remastered version of Ghostbusters is currently under development as it was rated by the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee. Now what is really interesting here is that Epic Games Korea applied for the rating, something that could perhaps indicate an upcoming Epic Games Store exclusive release.

The Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee is perhaps one of the most trustworthy sources of leaks. After all, the PC versions of Octopath Traveller, Okami HD and Sunset Overdrive were first leaked by the Korean GRB. Therefore, we are certain that a remaster version of the Ghostbusters game is currently under development.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a 2009 action adventure game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise that was developed by Terminal Reality and was released in 2009. This Ghostbusters game is said to be a sequel to the second Ghostbusters movie (it is often described as “what the third GB movie should have been”) and canon to the timeline of the original movies.

We don’t know whether this remaster will bring additional texture, 3D models and lighting enhancements, or whether it will be a simple remaster (aka 4K remaster for current-gen consoles) that will pack all of its DLCs.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. So there’s no remaster happening at all then?.

Why tell me there isn’t a remaster happening?.

  2. Damn those pesky ‘misogynist’ Koreans for not demanding the remaster to be reskinned as Ghostbusters (2016)! Has PC Gamer’s Andy Chalk contrived to blame President Trump yet?

  3. So,where’s Ghostbusters 2016 official games??i though that the best Ghostbusters movie because of “diversity” cast and “certain group” hidden agenda…

  4. it better have all of it’s cinemas switch to in-game, original sorta disappointed having a large percentage pre-rendered.

    1. Let me guess, if it wasn’t an Epic exclusive it would’ve been surprisingly bad?

      Pathetic.

      1. look at reviews and articles of when it came out. its a very good game. what does epic store have to do with a 10 year old game? it didnt even exist then? you anti-epic shills are delusional.

        1. Wow, you actually need that post explained. I guess if you had a brain you wouldn’t be supporting Epic

      2. Indeed. Unfortunate that a few people were duped by his thinly veiled latest shilling for Tencent.
