  1. That would have never happend if the PC build was garbage. Take a hint developers *cough* looking at you ubisoft *cough*

    1. I don get this. Ubisoft had 3 bad hits. Watch Dogs was/is horrendous. Unity had some bugs that did get fixed though, in comparison to Watch Dogs. And Far Cry 4 was pretty much a disaster for a while, though it got mostly fixed. And an SSD fixed most of FC4 streaming issues. But other than that? Ubisoft produced perfectly fine, optimized games.

  2. oh they are only showing gmg not g2a,cd keys and kinguin those shady 3rd world cd key sites.
    nd im shocked

    1. Please stop posting you dont know anything about anything, “they” meaning dso stuff is showing steam and uk charts the GMG is there because they got a partnership with em.

      1. lol gmg was called out by reddit gaming for selling stolen cd keys and they stoped partnering with them because of it..lol

        1. *some likely corrupt reddit moderators who have no authority outside of reddit and are no authority on anything

          1. yep thats why they dropped gmg from their partner ship because they have no authority….lol

          2. Their “partnership” = giving the site publicity on their subreddit. As reddit moderators their authority is limited to their subreddit. And anyone can found a subreddit or be promoted into mod status in one, it’s not a university degree + job interview type situation. It’s just people who have too much time sh!tposting on the internet, much like you and me. You’re effectively saying: “There are other random nobodies on the internet who also don’t like those game key sites.” – Who cares?

          3. also cd red project the makers of the witcher 3 broke ties with gmg because they were selling out sourced cd keys for $35.

      1. “you know what assumeing does…..lololol” Your spelling does lololol

Your post however are childish to the point where even people looking for an online argument ignore you…….

  3. GMG and G2A sold out their keys day one. That’s a good indicator concerning the quality of the game.

  4. DENUNO WINS AGAIN!!! Iam sure it will sell more than xbox one and ps4 just like Rise of the tomb raider sold more on pc thanks to denuvo

    1. Lets check out steamspy

      cracked dying light 1,404,625

uncracked far cry primal : 163,676

Well it is obviously because it is an old game and primal is new

      far cry 4 : 662,993

      Far Cry 3: 2,793,854

Meh those are old games despite the fact primal is uncracked pick games that came out in the same time period

      cracked Fallout 4 : 3,136,601

      uncracked just cause 3 : 583,168

      hmm

      thats weird maybe:

      cracked mad max :: 759,635

wait a minute that is not possible just cause 3 is uncracked and it received more promotion than mad max.

rise of the tomb raider : 726,710

Both mad max and rise of the tomb raider beat just cause 3.

Hmm ubisoft games are pirated alot but they have alot of promotion sooo

unity 295,137 it was 300k last time i checked seems people refunded it

      syndicate 158,464

hmmm yeah. meanwhile primal is at 163,676 and cracked mad max is at 759,635 with cracked mgsv at 954,813

      hmmmm

      Ok but indie games

      cracked firewatch 265,292

cracked witness 107,775 Was 160k people refunded it.

well, that is higher than ubisoft games.

But surely if the game is uncraked like adr1ft 5,806 …infact it was 9k seems people refunded it.

      cracked stellaris 286,373

cracked dark souls 3 beats most games 883,043

nope, there you have it people piracy does not even make a dent on pc sales, Since pirates dont buy games. people who buy like good games that dont run awful with recycled sequels.

Now stop using piracy as an excuse for bad products not selling. Not only it is incorrect since the numbers dont add up but it is spreading nonsense misinformation making it sound like there would be double sales without piracy.

      1. True dat. As a pirate myself, i am yet to play a uncrackeable game, because there is just too much free games out there. Maybe some ultra hyped game will trigger my “casual pirate” mode, but it seems unlikely for now.

    2. WTF i am reading here, eventually i must admit that the pcmaster race people are nuts, crazy, wacky.

It is so difficult for anyone to understand that after all those years pc as a platform has a healthy amount of users and denuvo has nothing to do with it?
If a game is good it will sell, simple as that. Not 10+millions but the 2millions mark is pretty much de dacto for any good game (AAA productions).

      1. pirates dont buy or cant buy games therefore the argument “if it was not for piracy” is nonsense.

        1. not true. lots of friends in my country at first were kinda “why would i buy it if it has no MP?” slowly i started convincing them that they should just to support the devs but with 60$ games (here thats quite a lot of money) normally pirating is the only viable option they see. some wait till its on offer but most dont

          1. doom has mp and its awful you can wait a while games get cheaper i almost never buy games on launch, let alone for 60 bucks.

      2. “It is so difficult for anyone to understand that after all those years pc as a platform has a healthy amount of users and denuvo has nothing to do with it?”

        Yes.

    3. GTFO you retarded DIPSHIT!
All you do is talking sh*t!
Do you actually belives people here listen and belive any word you say.

Well Go F*CK ye Self NIG*A!!

  5. I’m so glad this game is doing so well. I love id and I want it to be an eternal studio because it’s pure PC gaming history. It had several bad years but this proves they’re back and I’m sure Tiago Sousa will make it bigger, as did John Carmack in the past.

Can’t wait for their next projects.

  6. Even I bought it, after all. On launch day I saw noctis (Australian Quake pro) playing the singleplayer on Nightmare. Level design looked solid and even this guy with perfect aim died a few times. After playing it a little I am pleasantly surprised that the FOV goes beyond 110 (even in MP) so it doesn’t matter that they are using a weird FOV calculation, you will get the FOV you want, you just have to find it. Performance is questionable in some places though, and I’m rather certain it’s CPU-bound as per usual. Nothing left but to wait for the Vulkan update.

P.S. Snapmap is BAD, two weapon limit! Don’t get it for Snapmap.

    1. quake pro playing doom?

Thats something i want to check any other pro players playing the game in youtube i should know about?

  7. It’s not only a good PC version technically, but gameplay-wise it feels like a PC FPS. Well deserved sales IMO.

  8. How much did it sold ? doom is not in steamspy, strange. and judging by all time players peak 44k is not that good specially when it has multiplayer. fallout 4 (2015 game & single player only) has 20k players online right now and doom only has 17k.

    All time peak – now:
    Doom: 44k – 17k
    Fallout 4: 472k – 20k
    Stellaris: 68k – 28k
    GTAV: 364k – 15k
    Dark Souls 3: 129k – 23k

    1. People are playing the single player and the mp isn’t even that good apparently. 20K playing fallout 4? I haven’t seen anyone play that on my steam friends list in months.

      1. Yeah, now imagine how much people playing fallout 4 offline. right now doom is at 15k, it droped 2k more players since yesterday.

        1. There’s that too. 59 euros for DOOM is probably too much for most of people. I got it from G2A because of that and I have to say the single player is surprisingly good. It’s hard to put a number to it, but many people seem to really like it.

        2. Although Fallout 4 has been out approximately 7 months longer than Doom, seven months of extra sales? At least it’s up at 18,500 players now.

          1. I didn’t compared the sale numbers but the players online. most (if not all) games have more players online in their first week in their whole life. Doom is now 24k and still 44k for all time peak, Fallout is now 72k and still 472k for all time peak.

          2. So am I right in thinking that the numbers you give above are both taken from only the first week of both Doom and Fallout 4 being played?

          3. Okay I see the point you’re making. I don’t have access to official sales figures or costs etc; but I still think there’s a case to be made that Doom will garner much better turnover from its numbers and sales than Fallout 4, even if it doesn’t have more players or make more money in a direct comparison.

For instance; If you compare the credits for each game, the disparity in size of production staff is absolutley vast. I can’t help but feel Doom must have been a more cost-effective game to make (though admittedly money must have been spent on id Tech 6, whereas Fallout uses an old, more serviceable engine with an update). Just hope it does well enough to warrant more id games, they’re my favourite! 🙂

          4. Oh Sure, i’m not saying Doom is selling badly, but it’s not as good as predicted or the article says. right now in it’s first week it sold 400k which is not bad at all.

I don’t know about it costs, what your saying might be true but look at it at this way too, Doom was in development since 2008, 8 years of development, it lost some people in the making, they had to start all over again, then they had to start over again with the new engine, it won’t look that cheap i guess. sure hope they make good games with less DRM and console focused features which count as limits on PC.

          5. Yeah that’s a point, they had the infamous ‘Call of Doom’ made up before it was scrapped and Stratton put them to work on the new game. All that wasted material and hours. Still it’s at about 465, 000 owners on Steamspy – not sure if that’s good or bad!

          6. It’s ok, not as good as games like xcom or darksouls not even half of them in the same time but i don’t think it’s a failure.
