  1. Most definitely not a game for the braindead fortnite/warzone/minecraft normies, and overall an enjoyable experience if you’re in for something different from the usual copy-paste openworld games.

    1. That’s a pretty dumb premise, since “all you have to do” is point and click in all video games…which means we’re all monkeys (including your fat baboon a*s) by your own definition.

    2. So if someone likes a game you dont they are braindead? Feels almost like political discussion.

      1. I didn’t say I like or dislike either of the games I mentioned. I just said they are targeted at a very specific group with very well defined tastes in videogames.

    3. I hate this So if you pick that side, you’re a fool, pick our side instead. Why can’t you be realistic and say that those games are successful cause you can play with friends and in the other you just walk like an idiot carrying boxes?

        1. How did I pick a side? I understand why someone might enjoy one more than the other, you anti social edge lord. Even if I dislike all the games mentioned there, I understand why something is successful without judging a whole community. It’s like its mandatory to be retard*d on this site (this one I can judge).

        2. But I wouldn’t say it’s more rude. “An idiot carrying boxes” sounds about as rude as “braindead normie”.

      1. Its predcting todays world better than any game, its talks about something and it hits right on the spot a year later in this real world, in other word its an art form that nou outdated with time

    4. That’s a pretty dumb premise, since “all you have to do” is point and click in all video games…which means we’re all monkeys (including your fat baboon a*s) by your own definition.

        1. All games (not just videogames) are a “pretending to be”…yet humans still play in some shape or form. My point still stands.

          1. It doesn’t. A bad game is a bad game is a bad game. Liking a bad game doesn’t make it good.

I’d urge you to check out the poor Japanese souls that have the displeasure of working with your lord and savior. Not only is he incredibly useless, he takes credit for crap others did.

You ever watch grandma’s boy? Weird has-been trench coat dude? Enter Kojima. Dude is a hack who hasn’t made a good game in a long time. Strangely enough, his best products are the ones where he isn’t in charge.

I’ll take you seriously when the guy doesn’t conjure up review camps. Or sicks Konami lawyers on journalists interviewing people who have nothing nice to say about Kojima. Or the fact that he nearly ran Konami into the ground. Or his multiple failures in a row that have yet to turn a profit.

It’s a business. A software business. That’s all I really look at. You’re looking at pedestrian crap for goalposts as if they matter, but they only matter to you. The world the product lives in disagrees with you.

Try not to get buttmad over a video game. That’s pathetic. I didn’t say you couldn’t like your garbage, I just don’t lie about what something is. Hell, I outright admit when I’m playing a bad game because enjoyment of something can be subjective. The standards the developers set for their own product? That’s another story and usually the best metric for something being good or not.

          2. Everyone have their own taste, why boter and dismiss other thought when it didnt the same with what you’d expect ?? No point in that, any people can enjoy bad game, even for example consensus said CoD/PUBG/APex/Overwatch/etc so good but when I tried it is boring for me and never bother again to play it. Enjoy what you like, dont bother with what people said or expect , there is no guilty pleasure if you trully enjoy it

          3. I’ll take my replies in English. The sad, sobbing fence sitting is about the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in a while.

Let’s all never have thoughts again. Ever. Nobody argues a point or defends a position, no matter how good or bad it may be. Go live under a rock, loser. Real life is gonna walk all over you.

          4. Real life will be fine in the end, if it isn’t fine then its just not the end…. Btw, what do you know about my life… none … nada … nothing… And you can have a thought, no one dismiss your thought, but why dismiss other ? You can have as many thought as you like without dismising or belittling other thought. Again, enjoy what you like, don’t bother with what people said or expect , there is no guilty pleasure if you trully enjoy it.

    5. It’s a game for “gamers” who want to pretend they’re “hardcore gamers”.

      It sucked. Let it go.

      1. Didn’t know DS was targeted at “hardcore gamers”. Are you trying to project your insecurities here?

        1. Just laughing at yours while you defend a bad video game over some sense of platform/Kojima love/idiocy. Get a grip. Go outside.

        2. Just laughing at yours while you defend a bad video game over some sense of platform/Kojima love/idiocy. Get a grip. Go outside.

    6. He had absolute freedom to make a good and engaging game and came up with this garbage. As I have always said the guy made one good game and has done nothing worthwhile since. Konami were clearly right to fire him he’s a pretentious idiot.

      1. Like I said, the game is not for everybody. Saying the game is “not good and engaging” isn’t saying much. You’re using very ordinary words to describe an out of the ordinary game. At best it seems you didn’t get what the game was about in the first place, and at worst you come off as just another random dude on the internet who has some pointless childish beef with Kojima.

          1. Says Matt from UK that got caged by his government, him and his family, like the filthy animals they are. ????????? Go learn how to wash your hands you filthy group of people

    7. Which game that didnt do that, thats why we love gaming because no need for real consequences in life (accept for time spent) by pressing button and walk from point A to B in our couch

    1. Lol, video games are still a young and developing medium, barely out of its infancy, and here you have all these jokers who want to bury it alive.

      1. Indie games still pretty alive, but the one that popular and success are not in my taste sadly (Hades, Valheim, Binding Of Isaac, or any roguelike rinse and repat expereince that people seems to love),

    2. Microsoft stopped that propaganda campaign years ago, when they realized pc gaming is important to the success of windows.

      1. Why deny yourself people to sell software to? It’s smart from a business standpoint. It is a software business after all.

    1. Its much more than that, the stores take a cut and there are sales. It sold 477,000 copies on only steam in the first month.

  2. Nice to see Terraria and Bloodstained are still generating a lot of money.
Hopefully we can get more of these games and less microtransaction trash games.

  3. Terrible “game” with so much marxist drivel and insanely dumb tech and plot holes it boggles the mind how this has so many fans, but the world is going down in so many ways so not too much of a surprise. Kochimp needs to just go full CGI film and leave vgs alone, assuming he even has anything to do with any of these games other than being a weird marketing/mascot guy.

    1. Can you elaborate on the “marxist drivel” of Death Stranding?

“Kochimp needs to just go full CGI film and leave vgs alone”

The irony is that his early work(Snatcher, Policenauts) was the most resembling of movies/anime instead of games.

    2. Stupid gamer community : Games are all the same nowadays, we want new things
Also the stupid gamer community : Death Stranding is trash because it’s different
Just go play what the F you want and STFU

      1. games are too much like movies with bad stories and repetitive grindfest gameplay . BUT WHEN KOJIMA DOES IT THEN ITS GREAT…LOL.

        Stupid kojima fanbohys

        1. Never been a Kojima fan, i only played MGS1 and MGSV and i disliked everything in between those 2 games but good try anyway, maybe next time you’ll have better arguments

        2. “games are too much like movies with bad stories and repetitive grindfest gameplay . BUT WHEN KOJIMA DOES IT THEN ITS GREAT..”

          This, unironically.

    3. “Kojimbo wants to get into Hollywood, which is why he peddles this Cutscene buIIshlt with mocapping hard over the gameplay”

Ever since Metal Gear Solid he does this, and even previously with Snatcher and Policenauts. You glance over obvious details like this, then goes on to call me a fool.

      1. Until MGSV and after MSX MG games, Metal Gear was always a Sony centric franchise, With Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2 getting late ports for PC and Xbox, MGR still have cutscene galore and leftist messaging. Haven’t played DS yet.

  4. Impressive. Wonder how many of those people were playing and realizing after a few hours “Wait, this really is all that I’m doing. Damn.”

Death Stranding was a terribly written, tone-deaf snore-fest.

    1. I see lots of positive comments about THE GAME, and lots of morons talking about the dev, which they don’t like and then they need to express it to everyone.

      1. Mate, it’s your opinion, I’m not the one who is going to judge.
But it would be nice if you could elaborate it, cause repeating two words like a parrot makes you sound like a moron.

      2. There is kind of a horseshoe theory when it comes to the idiocy of Kojima haters and Kojima’s most fervent fanboys.

  5. Great game, was a nice break from the FPS were barraged with every second.
Played this at the start of Covid and really fit into the mood I was in at the time.

  6. My god if you are looking an opinion for this game in the comments you are better off going checking out reviews instead of reading anything below.

    1. If anyone is really looking for an opinion, I’m quite sure they won’t look at just one place. And, if you allow me, honest opinions are better than the opinions you just want to hear.

      1. Its still something, there is potency there in my opinion, 23 million euro also higher than US (is around US$27 million)

    1. Let me guess. You think producing money somehow negates the cost of the production. Which it likely didn’t.

It was a lame game that didn’t make money, really, who cares? Kojima does this crap all the time.

  7. Doing zip line network was damn fun. And generally the game on mechanical standpoint was superb and quite entertaining. Be it combat, deliveries, aforementioned zips, etc.)

Main cons was of course political nonsense, and TDS with – thankfully only one from what I remember – old fart NPC. The story in general was wtf. Though kind of shows potential twitter dystopia, when you are literally working for f*king likes.

I wouldn’t mind DS x Koikatsu (in world’s end harem scenario) game. Instead of some crap materials, get good interactive s*x for deliveries, to repopulate the planet (or USA, or w/e).

  8. Not bad for an niche game, would have expected less as walk simulators are to slow for the majority of todays gamers. Performs quite nicely on PC, way better than on the original release system

  9. One of the best games I’ve ever played, and fit perfectly for my taste.
Astonishing graphics, weird plot and universe and a great gameplay mechanics.
I could only ask for another one.

  10. I just hate this game doesnt have teleport to waypoint trainer. It will be more enjoyable play with that “cheat”…
