Deadstone – Top-down 2D Shooter With Tower Defense & RPG Elements – Releases On July 10th

Daithi McHugh – creator of Deadstone; a top-down 2D Shooter with tower defense & RPG elements – has informed us about the game’s release. According to Daithi, Deadstone will be released on July 10th and will be priced at €8.99 / $9.99 / £6.99.

Daithi has been working on this game for over 18 months, so I think the developer deserves the spotlight, even if you are not a fan of this genre.

“It’s pretty much been my life for the last 18 months and I’m really excited to finally be in a position to release it.”

For those interested, there is also a demo to try until the game releases.

Deadstone is described as a compelling blend of fast paced 2D combat and tower defense, backed by elements of resource management and an in-depth character development system.

In Deadstone, players assume the role of Blake, a private security operative fleeing the Icarus space station after a bacterial outbreak transforms the station’s occupants into homicidal monsters.

“After crash landing on the surface of Mars, close to the mining colony of Deadstone, Blake quickly discovers that his part in the conflict is far from over.”
