Great news for zombie fans as Dead Island’s ‘Bloodbath DLC’ has just been released on Steam. The DLC is priced at 9.99 euros and features four 4 deadly and hazardous arenas, endless waves of zombies, supports both SP and co-op MP and leaderboard to challenge your friends. Now I don’t like this whole ‘DLC idea’, but I’m pretty sure that those who want more ‘zombie-ness’ will appreciate it. So go ahead and get it.
In the ‘Bloodbath Arena’ DLC four different arenas offer new challenges that can be played alone or in coop mode. It’s a desperate fight for survival where waves after waves of unrelenting zombies attack, one more gruesome than the next! In this DLC characters can loot experience points and items and bring them over to the campaign mode. Players can also show off their skills in zombie fighting with the newly implemented leaderboards.
To be honest, I was really impressed with Dead Island. Although I’m not a big fan of zombie games, I found it interesting and enjoyable, albeit a bit repetitive. It’s also a great performer as you can read in our PC Performance Analysis.
