Infinity Ward and Beenox have released a brand new update for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This new patch finally fixes the stuttering issues that players experienced during the pre-rendered cut-scenes.
These stuttering issues were one of our biggest gripe with COD: MW. So yeah, it’s at least good knowing that Beenox has heard its fanbase and fixed them. Here is hoping that it will also address or minimize the pop-in issues.
The November 15th update also improves overall stability. Furthermore, it includes a fix for Dev Error 6178.
As always, Battlenet will download this patch the next time you launch its launcher, and you can find its complete changelog below.

Excellent, well done Infinity Ward.
Fascinating!
Noob treyarch working on fixing pointless cutscenes for a pointless 2 hour singleplayer experience when they should be working on the upcoming 200 player battle royale… They should really set the priorities straight instead of fixing some features that nobody cares about.
Actually its Infinity Ward who are the devs
This patch was a bless, I was waiting for the fix to touch the campaign and holy hell it is Amazing, I finished tonight is not as epic as the MW2 campaign but its my second favorite CoD campaign there’s some dark scenes and pretty cool ones I loved the ending I won’t spoil but if you was a fan of MW1 and MW2 then you’ll love the ending, also nice to see the post credits scene.
My favorite campaigns are:
1: MW2
2: MW 2019
3: Black Ops 1
More stutters than Fernando Diaz searching for an alternative superlative to “Excellent”!
Don’t give him ideas please lol
He needs a firmware update from Timmy Tencent in order to get new ideas.
There are still problems like, missing faces, low poly characters or environment textures.
The bigger problems are freezing and soft lock ups, maps end and game stops it self and stops PC, after some times game and system goes back to normal and goes to lobby.
Game is still laggy, drops frames the biggest problems are in that sh**ty Conquest clone game mode… dude game looks worse that BF4 and runs like crap, not to mention broken hitboxes and poor netcode.
