Borderlands 3 is 2K Games’ fastest selling game to date

Take-Two has announced that Borderlands 3 has become 2K Games’ fastest selling game to date. According to the company, Borderlands 3 has sold-in nearly 14 million units to date on all platforms.

Additionally, the Borderlands franchise has sold-in over 72 million units worldwide. Not only that, but Borderlands 2 is 2K’s top-selling title with over 25 million units sold-in to date.

Now it’s worth noting that Gearbox removed Denuvo from this game in January 2021. Moreover, the team released a Crossplay Update, allowing players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Stadia, and PC to play together, in June 2021.

In other news, Take-Two revealed that Sid Meier’s Civilization franchise has sold-in over 59 million units.

  1. Pretty sure I saw this thing marked down to bargain bin pricing after a mere few weeks. That may have something to do with the moved volume.

  2. The game has a serious bug for Xbox one X users where during multiplayer the console would hard-shutdown. It happened to tens of thousands of users basically rendering the multiplayer version of the game unplayable. And 2K’s handling of the matter was appalling. On top of that, two years after the release the bug is still in the wild. I would steer away from the game if i were you.

  3. Yeah this was so cringe and bloated. It’s almost an insanity trainer among many. Gratis version was deleted long ago.
