BeamNG’s Next-Generation Soft-body Physics Engine Gets New Footage

CryEngine 3 physics
Okay PC gamers, we’ve got some bad and some good news for you today. The bad news is that BeamNG’s drooling physics engine will be moving from CryEngine 3 to the Torgue 3D engine. The good news is that BeamNG is preparing a new racing game that will take advantage of this extraordinary physics engine, and released a new video that can be viewed below. Although there is nothing ground-breaking in this particular video, we’ve got to say that we got a Viper Racing vibe from it, which is good in our books. BeamNG’s middleware physics engine will be portable to other engines too, however we don’t know whether or not any developer will invest on it anytime soon. Enjoy!
