Well, you gotta love CD Projekt RED. The Polish company has just revealed that both The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2 will be playable for free the entire weekend via Steam. Yeap, you read that right. You can play and enjoy these amazing PC titles without paying anything at all. And we all know how amazing these games are. Okay okay, most of you already own them but still, that’s a great move from CD Projekt RED.
Moreover, The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2 come with a massive 80% discount until February 18th. This means that you can get the first title for only 1,59€ and the second one for only 3,99€. And did we mention that they are the Enhanced Editions and not the Standard versions?
It’s pretty obvious that CD Projekt RED is gearing up for The Witcher 3, so if you are interested in it, do yourselves a favor and replay the previous parts of the franchise.
The Witcher 3 is currently planned for a 2014 release on PC and next-gen consoles.

Okay, this is it. This is the pefect time for me to start my very first journey in the Witcher universe. Never touched this series before, but now, seeing that The Witcher 3 is coming out fairly soon, I feel the need to play through these games, starting from the first Witcher game to the Witcher 2. And hopefully, I’ll finish them just some time before W3 release. What a delicious deal, thanks CD Project.
It’s gonna be tough to finish both games in one weekend though cause Witcher 1’s main quest line is already about 40 hours long.
I know. These two games are $5 in total which makes them an instant purchase. I want them to stay in my library forever.

Thos ultra wide ones are a dream (waaaaaaaay out of my reality unfortunately). I was using an Led AOC 1621w (from an old OEM PC, can’t say that enough IT WAS SH*T). I’m out of work right now so my next xesone has the obligation to be cheap :p (and when I mean cheap I mean those that the gov put less taxes hehe).
I’m out of work too, so many things to buy for my PC. I’m saving for the monitor, an R9 290, new soundcard, cpu fan, headphones etc… So you don’t have a working PC now then?
