Man, it appears that Ubisoft cannot catch a break these days. Following the leak of the full-fledged CGI trailer for Far Cry 6, here is another one for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. According to AC Italy’s Instagram account, this new Assassin’s Creed game will release on November 17th.

We expect Ubisoft to officially reveal the game’s release date later today, during its Ubisoft Forward 2020 event. We also expect the French company to present some new gameplay footage from it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will invite players to live the saga of Eivor; a fierce Viking raider raised on tales of battle and glory. The game brings players to a dynamic and beautiful open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages. Furthermore, players can take advantage of new features, including raids, growing their settlement, building their power and expanding their influence.

Two days before Cyberpunk 2077 releases. Two huge open world games launching so close to one another. Some people might buy both, but the majority will buy one(Cyberpunk 2077) and wait to get the other on sale. They might not even buy it at all. After one huge open world game do you really want to play another right after it?
Tinfoil moment: CDPR wants to be above Ubisoft’s market cap and by releasing CP77 so close to AC:V should buy them some time to remain the leader until Ubisoft’s next big game which should be in February 2021 (Far Cry 6)

Pretty ballsy (or stupid) of them to release so close to Cyberpunk, i guess they trust their fanbase (yeah, they exist) too much.
how the hell do they manage to have so many leaks. i feel terrible. i know ppl like to crap on them. but they have made a ton of great games and are even doing their best to fix past mistakes. altho releasing this game 2 days before cyberpunk is a massive fail. two huge open world games…. gawd damn. Most people will just choose cyberpunk over AC if they are to buy 1 of them. Cyberpunk is brand new. Assassin’s Creed is just a reskin of the past 15 games they have released lol. I am interested to play it… but like all assassins creed games this game will already be half price right after christmas. I’ll grab it then
