Microids has released a free PC demo for Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy, and revealed its PC system requirements. Moreover, the team revealed that this remake will come out on April 25th.
The remake promises to have revamped puzzles and brand-new challenges. As such, it will be a fresh and exhilarating experience even for its old-school fans.
Players will interact with fascinating characters, each with their own compelling stories and motives, as they strive to rectify the mistakes of the past and forge a new legacy.
From what I’ve seen, the remake will have new assets for environments and characters. However, unlike the Risen Remake, it does not allow you to freely explore the environments. Instead, the game remains a point-n-click adventure.
It’s also worth noting that the remake uses the Unity Engine. It does not use Unreal Engine. So, I’m curious to see how it performs.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-9 Gen or AMD Ryzen 3 4100 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX580. The game will also require 25GB of free disk space.
Microids recommends using an Intel Core i7- 09 Gen or AMD Ryzen 5 4500 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
You can download the demo from this link. I’ll also be sure to try the demo and share a gameplay video (I’ll update this article with it once it’s live).
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
