It might the best Alien game out there, a must play for anyone who enjoyed the movies, especially the first one
even with my love for this franchise i got bored after an hour, i hate walking simulators.

the first time i installed it i did, second and third try no.
the idea of being stalked by a predator is cool in a movie but in a video game if there’s not a lot that you can do then it’s boring imo, it’s just hide and seek.
It gets a little more involved the further you progress. You get access to some weapons to fend the alien off (including a flamethrower). Molotovs, and you can also craft noise bombs, to distract it.
The Unpredictable Alien mod makes the game more tense, since it cuts off the bond between the alien and Amanda, giving the xeno a sort of free roam and unpredictable behaviour.
Lol the first hour is the worse one, it’s the walking sim part, the game really starts when the Xeno shows up. And you got weapons, gadgets, a crafting system, and you’re evolving in a complex level design, more like a System Shock game, believe me i don’t stand walking simulators as much as any sane guy
I guess i’ll give it another try.

Wow that’s cheap, even for a poor soul like me. Nice game, it gets repetetive and a little bit too long…but for that price is a nice value.
Now the real question is is the DLC worh it ?
Only if you are a fan of the franchise and liked the core gameplay of the base game. Playing the sections from the movie is cool.
If you like scary/horror games. This is right at the top. I had this on ps4 then rebought it on pc. It’s flipping amazing. People that want to rush through games/have a.d.d. probably won’t like it tho. this game requires patience. It’s very rewarding and highly recommended. One of my favs!

That game is a 3/10. even with all the graphic and gameplay mods that fix the obvious problems, that game is still a 5/10.
Yep, ACM Overhaul mod only saved it from being a total failure by making it a below average game, you can’t polish a turd
Worth checking out for anyone who hasnt yet. While a very cool atmospheric game I cant see myself playing it through a second time, perhaps in VR.

Big fan of the whole franchise but the game just creeps me out and im not big on the whole survival game theme, now if they mashed this up with the Division2 graphics…..instant moistness.
