Red Dead Redemption 2 Visual Redemption Mod

Red Dead Redemption 2 gets a 7GB Mod, overhauling its terrain textures

Modder ‘nigeez’ has released a new HD Texture Pack for Red Dead Redemption 2 that overhauls its terrain textures. Now contrary to other HD Texture Packs, this one features custom assets (and not ones that have been upscaled via AI techniques).

Going into more details, this pack has Albedo and Normal maps at 2K resolution. On the other hand, the AO, Roughness and Heightmaps are 1K.

Do note that this mod currently covers only main story areas. This isn’t a full terrain textures replacement, so expect some areas to have the vanilla textures. For example, anything from Blackwater to south is vanilla.

You can download this HD Texture Pack from here.

Lastly, and speaking of RDR 2, we suggest downloading the following HD Texture Packs for it. In theory, these packs should be compatible with this latest one. So, for starters, there is this AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack that overhauls all weapons. Additionally, you can download an HD Texture Pack that overhauls the hair of all pedestrians. Here is also a mod that overhauls the interior lighting of buildings. Let’s also not forget this pack that overhauls the game’s story/main characters. And finally, there are packs for smallmedium & large mammals. Oh, and we highly recommend downloading this mod that adds support for DLSS Ultra Quality & DLAA.

Have fun!
