Modder ‘Evgeshajk’ has released a must-have AI-enhanced 4K Texture Pack for the remastered version of Onimusha: Warlords. The modder has used AI tools to enhance the game’s textures. And, as you will see, it looks incredible.
Onimusha: Warlords included updated features like HD graphics, a widescreen option, and analog stick support. It also had an Easy Mode, and a new soundtrack. However, it lacked higher-quality textures. And that’s what this pack aims to fix.
To be honest, this is one of the best AI-enhanced 4K Texture Packs I’ve ever seen. At the end of the article, you can find some comparison screenshots. And even without zooming in, you can immediately notice the visual improvements.
With this 4K Texture Pack, Onimusha: Warlords looks absolutely beautiful. So, it’s really a shame that a modder did what Capcom should have done itself. Still, this is exactly why we love PC gaming and mods. Even if the devs drop the ball, the community will figure out ways to improve things.
Onimusha Warlords uses fixed camera angles and looks blurry as hell. And that’s a shame because it should have been easy to upscale the textures. Now I know that the remaster came out in 2019. Back then, we didn’t have as sophisticated AI tools as we do now. Still, Capcom should have at least tried to improve them.
You can download this 4K Texture Pack from this link.
Speaking of AI-enhanced HD Texture Packs, we also suggest taking a look at these for some other games. In October 2023, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl and Half-Life 2 got two cool AI-enhanced HD Texture Packs. Earlier this week, we also shared AI-upscaled packs for Grim Fandango Remastered and BioShock Remastered. Let’s also not forget these AI-enhanced mods for Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. You can also find packs for Far Cry 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Blood 2, Dark Souls 2, FEAR, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 and Resident Evil 7.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

size?
I just entered the link and in the "Files" section (Nexus' download section for a mod) said it's 12.1GB.
Wow! Really. Boy that's big
That's what she said
Did someone call me a "she"?
No bad assumptions about you ZIGS as I knew you for years now and you made a lot of good comments that I enjoyed a lot when you used to be a lot more active here on DSOG, but I'm just wondering who is this person that you meant by "she"?
It's a joke, some movie reference, and he was replying to One90sGuru when he commented how big the file is.
Ah, okay. I barely watch movies at all so I don't know (I actually hate movies in general).

Well damn! I'm surprised how it got the vegetation right. I wonder what tools author is using. Although a bit much sharper, but it looks great and does make a illusion of 3d depth. Amazing Mod
Just curious, how can some people take screenshots at the exact frame of two screenshots but some modifications like the textures are applied for comparison between the two?
I've seen some people do that in a couple of (but not all) games' mods and sometimes when there's an official remaster of an old game where they enhance the old textures. Some comparatives know how to take screenshots at the exact frame with mods applied like in this one, but others (sometimes even comparison videos from an official remaster) take screenshots at a close frame, but not the exact frame as the other one they're comparing to.
This game uses static textures like the first resident evil??
Yup! Onimusha 1 and 2 both use pre-rendered backgrounds. Onimusha 3 and 4 are fully 3d
ooo this makes sense, looks good anyway
Now THAT's what I call a texture pack. 😌
Not like these countless generic texture packs that you can find for Skyrim and that barely look different from the original textures.
it's funny they made a 4k texture pack for a game port that doesn't support a 4k resolution..(only goes up to 1440p and been trying for 30 minutes to get the damn game to not change my desktop resolution back to 1440p after editing the config to force 4k)
