Earlier this month, CD Projekt RED released Patch 2.01 for Cyberpunk 2077. And, although that update resolved the most common issues players have encountered and improved overall performance on all platforms, it introduced a glitch that could prevent players from receiving 16 of the skill progression rewards. Thankfully, though, there is now a mod that addresses this bug/glitch issue.
Going into more details, Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.01 introduced a bug that prevented 16 of the skill progression rewards from applying when loading a save made with patch 2.01. Furthermore, there was another glitch that prevented skill rewards (for the exact level of your skill) from being applied on reload. This second glitch has been present in the game since version 2.0.
Below you can find the affected rewards.
- Headhunter 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 55, 60
- Netrunner 20
- Shinobi 20, 40, 45, 50, 55
- Solo 40, 45
- Engineer 40
So, until CD Projekt RED resolves these two issues, you can go ahead and download this mod.
To install it, you’ll simply have to extract the zip file into the Cyberpunk 2077 installation folder. Do note, though, that you’ll also need redscript (otherwise the mod won’t work).
Speaking of Cyberpunk 2077, we also suggest taking a look at the following mods for it. You can download an amazing Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. Not only that but this mod adds a flying mechanism to all cars, and these mods unlock/introduce other explorable areas. Let’s also not forget this amazing Metro System Mod. Last week, we also shared a mod that added ragdoll physics to all finishing moves. Moreover, Halk Hogan PL has released a new version of his amazing HD Reworked Project. And finally, this mod integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

I think I had noticed this issue, but I was rather confused about it. I’ll have to try it out at some point and see if things work better.
201 still has plenty of bugs in there and has new ones as well, feel pretty sorry for mugs who paid full price for base and pl, a mess of a game and a terrible dev who took 2 iterations to get to tw3 which crashed constantly until a few patches came out if anyone bothers to remember. They also are not original they buy IPs and go from there.
The Ted Fox bug is still there, which I never had in 1.6 and I get a lot more bizarre graphical bugs then I had in 1.6 which was the base they should have built on, not redoing whole parts 3 years after launch. Of dubious benefits as well there. I mean there is so much immersion breaking w just the graphical bugs it’s pathetic all the “they redeemed themselves” lickspittle posts out there, likely cpDUR using AI tools to influence opinions especially joogle’s reddit product for opinion manipulation. No shortage of idiots out there though, majority in fact.
Some of the hottest mods are AI voice replacers currently invading nexus, the biosculpting exotics for “furry” fetishists pretty creepy but “canon” so all good in the popular logic. Of course the huge clothes and body fetish people there too.

I’m sure the Devs are aware of the skills bug and an official patch will come out eventually. Just more waiting I guess.
