Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new beta test version of Brutal Doom. The biggest feature of Brutal Doom V22 Beta Test 6 is the two new Horde Mode levels that it has.
These two Horde levels take place on Earth. They both feature a supply drop system, and they will let you fight hordes of enemies. So, if you are a die-hard Doom fan, you will definitely enjoy them.
Brutal Doom is one of the best mods for classic Doom. Needless to say, I highly recommend giving it a go. You can go ahead and download this Public Beta Test from this link.
At the end of the article, you can also find a trailer for this latest version of Brutal Doom. This trailer shows off the new Horde levels. It also details some of the new tweaks and features the modder has added to it. So, be sure to watch it.
If you are looking for other cool mods for Doom, I suggest getting Voxel Doom. Then we have Aliens Eradication TC, which is a must-have mod for all our Alien fans. Brutal Doom: Black Edition is a mod that attempts to bring Doom 3’s art style to the game. There’s also a cool Doom 64-inspired episode mod that you can download. We also have Schism, which is a Doom/Hexen/Heretic mashup using Brutal Doom, as well as Bloom (a crossover between Blood and Doom).
Finally, if you own an RTX GPU, you should try Doom 2 Ray-Traced. Doom 2 Ray-Traced adds full path tracing effects to the game. I’ve played both Doom 1 and Doom 2 with Path Tracing, and they are perhaps among the best experiences you’ll have. So, don’t skip on them.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
