Modder ‘fromsoftserve’ has released a new version of his amazing graphics overhaul remaster mod for Bloodborne. This is a must-have mod for everyone who wants to experience this PS4-only game on PC. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Version 1.01 adds new material work to the Hunter’s Dream and large parts of Central Yharnam. It also changes many shininess maps for different surfaces. Some have been replaced with higher-resolution versions. Some now have less specular shine, while others have more.

Now, if you don’t want to use fromsoftserve’s PC Remaster Mod, you can download and try another one. In June 2026, Serotoniner released Bloodborne Reborne. BB Reborne is a complete visual overhaul that changes textures, lighting, and material properties across the entire game, including the DLC and Chalice Dungeons. The goal was to make each area/time feel distinct, memorable, and worth rediscovering.
Speaking of Bloodborne, here are two other cool mods for it. The first one is Bloodborne Magnus Opus. Bloodborne Magnus Opus is a project that aims to restore content that was cut from the game. The second is a first-person mod. By using it, you can play Bloodborne in first-person mode. This is a cool way to replay the game if you have already finished it.
Another cool mod is HardBorne. HardBorne aims to make Bloodborne significantly more challenging. This is for those who have already mastered the vanilla version.
All of these mods, alongside the PC Remaster Mods, can be used on PC via the shadPS4 emulator. There is also a mod that aims to bring both PvP and Co-Op Online Modes to the game. However, there is still no ETA for when it will come out.
