Crytek and Electronic Arts have released a new trailer for their upcoming FPS title, Crysis 3. Although the beginning of the trailer features scenes we’ve seen in other trailers, there are some new sequences later on that also reveal a new type of enemy. In Crysis 3, players will return to the fight as Prophet, the Nanosuit soldier on a quest to rid the world of the invading Ceph and the corrupt CELL corporation. Crysis 3 is currently planned for a February 2013 release, and the PC version will feature – among other things – DX11 support and higher-resolution textures. Enjoy! It’s been a while since our last look at Cube World. Well, good news everyone as Wollay has released a new video for it that showcases its Multiplayer mode and features new enemies, more items, rare zones, and dungeons. Cube World is one of our most anticipated indie games and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. Quite frankly – it looks like tons of fun and although there are some bugs here and there (notice the ‘airborne’ leaves when the player is fighting a huge enemy), it could very well be the next ‘Minecraft’ phenomenon. Set in the iconic Dungeons & Dragons city of Neverwinter, this free-to-play MMORPG will take players from the besieged walls of the city, once known as The Jewel of The North, to subterranean passageways in search of forgotten secrets and lost treasure. Now this is what we’re talking about. YouTube’s member ‘enquaynay’ has created a short animation film that is based on Valve’s puzzle game, Portal 2. Of course, there are some changes to Portal’s universe (as GLaDos is now a sexy dead cyborg woman). Milestone has released a new gameplay trailer for WRC 3 that showcases one lap through the GB forests racing across mud and tarmac. The video highlights the level of Milestones attention to detail through the variance in track and weather conditions through mud, rain and sun and the effect such racing conditions have on the car and the handling. YouTube’s member ‘kamakazi423’ and his team has created an interesting trailer for an upcoming live action short film that will be based on Assassin’s Creed III. Although this trailer was made with virtually no budget , it looks kind of cool. Yes, there are various ‘mistakes’, the narrator sounds kind of weird and there aren’t any parkour tricks. However, it does have potential for a fan-made short film. A kickstarter campaign will be initiated at a later date to help the team fund this short film and make it better. Enjoy!
