Electronic Arts and BioWare have announced a new multiplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3. Available to download at no additional charge, Mass Effect 3: Retaliation ups the challenge by adding treacherous environmental hazards to existing maps and will introduce the infamous Collectors as a new enemy faction in multiplayer. Mass Effect 3: Retaliation will be available for download on October 9 on Xbox LIVE and the Origin client software and on PlayStation Network in North America on October 9 and in Europe on October 10. Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Danger Close Studios’ Medal of Honor: Warfighter. According to the publisher, combat driving is a critical skill in urban environments as ambushes happen at a moment’s notice. Being able to instantaneously flip that switch from normal to full on and tactfully using your vehicle as your weapon can help you live to fight another day. Just like the popular “Buddy Film” movie genre, which casts a pair of unlikely heroes who must band together, there are bound to be communication problems and hilarious moments. Our reader ‘GhostRiderLSOV’ has sent us one of the most ambitious ArmA 2 machinima movies we’ve ever seen. Directed, edited and produced by Binary Orchestra, this movie shows an invasion at Seattle that puts against the US army with the Russian one. Markus ‘Notch’ Persson has released the first footage of Mojang’s upcoming game, 0x10c. This is a WIP footage, and does not show much, apart from some physics, bobbing, and guns. 0x10c is said to take place in a hard science fiction world and will feature lots of engineering, a fully working computer system, space battles against the AI or other players. Players will be able to seamlessly land on planets and there will be an advanced economy system. There will also be random encounters, as well as mining, trading, and looting. Enjoy! Square Enix released a new trailer for Hitman: Absolution. Developed by IO Interactive, Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Now this is what most pCars fans have been waiting for. Although we didn’t have any confirmation about such a mode, we always thought that the final game would support it. And we are delighted to reveal today that an MP mode will be added to an upcoming build of Project CARS. Our guess is that an early multiplayer WIP mode will be in this Friday build for Manager+ tool packs, so hopefully we might see this mode hitting the other builds next Friday.
