The second season of Mortal Kombat Legacy was – overall – great but let’s be honest; the fight between Scorpion and Sub-Zero was awful. Seriously, it was BAD. And ironically, this fan-made real life battle between Scorpion and Noob Saibot puts that particular fight to shame. Not only that, but the fan-made short film stays true to the game’s spirit, and has a fatality that looks surprisingly amazing. In short, you should definitely give it a go. Enjoy! I’m not really a fan of dubstep, but who cares, right? Kurt Hugo Schneider and Lindsey Stirling have worked together and created a dubstep remix of Pokemon’s theme. Lindsey has been dressed up as Misty, while Kurt has been dressed up as Ash. Hell, there is even a guy wearing a Pikachu costume. Apart from the somewhat cheesy cosplaying, the song is actually cool so make sure to give it a go (especially if you are fans of Pokemon). Kudos to Bryce Jurgensmeier for spotting it. Enjoy! Ah, the time has finally come and Machinima has posted the first episode of the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat web-series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy II. In this first episode, Liu Kang gets into a drunken fight in a seedy Macau bar with the local gangsters. Kung Lao appears after a while and comes to his rescue, and the two have a tumultuous reunion. Now I’d love to see Sub-Zero and Scorpion in the next episode, but who knows what the team has in store for us. Obviously I haven’t watched the it till its end yet (so there might be a preview for its next episode… or not). [UPDATE: Holy bloody hell. The entire season is available from the get-go. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag in which actor Matt Ryan introduces us to some of the main characters we will meet in the game. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag tells the story of Edward Kenway, a young British man with a thirst for danger and adventure, who falls from privateering for the Royal Navy into piracy as the war between the major Empires comes to an end. Railsimulator.com has released the launch trailer of Train Simulator 2014 that is narrated by fans favourite Eddard ‘Ned’ Stark (Game Of Thrones) and Boromir (LOTR), Sean Bean. Codemasters has released a new trailer for its upcoming F1 Formula racing game, F1 2013, featuring Emerson Fittipaldi’s hotlap at the Brands Hatch circuit in 1986. F1 2013 aims to give FORMULA 1 fans the chance to compete against legendary drivers in cars from different eras of FORMULA ONE with a range of classic content from the 1980s. The first official trailer for the movie based on Electronic Arts’ racing franchise, Need For Speed, has been released and can be viewed below. The storyline of this movie feels pretty basic, while the overall style of the trailer reminded us of NFS: The Run (more or less). According to its description, a street racer who was framed by a wealthy business associate joins a cross country race with revenge in mind. The movie will be out in theaters in March 2014. Enjoy!
