Nvidia’s PhysX Unified Particle Physics Solution Looks Spectacular – New Video From SIGGRAPH 2014

During SIGGRAPH 2014, Miles Macklin, Matthias Muller, Nuttapong Chentanez and Tae-Yong Kim presented a unified dynamics framework for real-time visual effects. It looks amazing and comes close to CG quality particle effects, so make sure to give it a go. According to its description, by taking advantage of Nvidia’s CUDA FLEX capabilities, this solution is capable of modeling gases, liquids, deformable solids, rigid bodies and clothing with two-way interactions. Enjoy! Bethesda has released the launch trailer for MachineGames’ upcoming remake to id Software’s classic FPS, Wolfenstein. GRID: Autosport Gets New Trailer, Dedicated To Touring Cars

Codemasters has released a new trailer for GRID: Autosport, showing how this famously competitive style of racing will be experienced in-game. As the press release reads, cars go head-to-head in robust packs, with drivers trading paint and crashing out as no quarter is asked, nor given, out on the track. The video also features Touring Car racing drivers explaining what players need to succeed in this discipline, including 2013 BTCC Champion Andrew Jordan from Pirtek Racing, Team Dynamics’ Matt Neal, and Motorbase Performance’s eight-time touring car title winner Fabrizio Giovanardi. It’s been a while since our last look on Sol: Contingency, don’t you agree? Well, the team behind this upcoming remake of Descent in Unreal Engine has released a new video, showing off some multiplayer action from an early access demo during a closed test. Need For Speed Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With A New Tribute Trailer

Need For Speed turned 20 yesterday and in order to celebrate it, Electronic Arts released a tribute trailer for this legendary franchise. It’s pretty amazing witnessing how this franchise has evolved over the years. From a pure racing game to a showcase for illegal street races and a more story driven title. Ironically, EA did not include sequences from all the games that were released during these past years, therefore we’ve included a video from YouTube’s member ‘Tofig Shamkhalov’ that does a better job. Titanfall – Expedition DLC Gameplay Trailer

Respawn and Electronic Arts have released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC of Titanfall, Titanfall: Expedition. This first DLC for Titanfall will release this month and will feature three maps that take place after Titanfall’s campaign. Titanfall: Expedition DLC will be available for the Xbox One and PC this May and for Xbox 360 in June. Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s Theme Is Ideal For This Live Action “Akira” Trailer

CineGround has been developing a trailer for a live action adaptation of Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira. Like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Akira shares a cyber-punk environment, and the team has used the game’s theme that was created by Michael McCann.
