Valve has released a new and improved beta version of Steam Play that allows Linux gamers to play Windows titles. In order to achieve this, Steam Play includes a modified distribution of Wine, called Proton, to provide compatibility with Windows game titles and uses the Vulkan API. No Man’s Sky had its best month since launch, Fortnite revenue up 2% from June, Overwatch revenue declines

SuperData Arcade has shared its monthly report, claiming that No Man’s Sky had its best month since launch in July 2018. According to the report, No Man’s Sky generated an estimated $24 million across all platforms in July after releasing its much anticipated NEXT DLC and launching on Xbox One. Furthermore, over two million players were active in July, a 10x increase from June. Ubisoft confirms that there won’t be a new full-fledged Assassin’s Creed game in 2019

At GamesCom 2018, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that there won’t be a new full-fledged Assassin’s Creed game in 2019.
