Sony Online Entertainment has announced that a new, massive, update for its PC exclusive F2P title, Planetside 2, will be released on January 31st. According to the development team, this patch will address a lot of issues that have been reported by its community, including low performance on low-end GPUs, XP enhancements and the inclusion of new spawn buildings with more exits. Activision and Treyarch have released a preview trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s first DLC Map Pack, Revolution. Revolution promises to be one of the most robust and diverse DLC offerings in Call of Duty history, including four all-new Multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, an exclusive Multiplayer weapon, and a brand new Zombies game mode. YouTube’s member ‘MarphitimusBlackimus‘ has uploaded a gameplay video from the tech demo levels of Half-Life Alpha v 0.52 dated September 4, 1997, over one year prior to the finished game’s release. And you know what? I seriously love this kind of videos that show how games looked like before their time of release. The reason I love these videos is because we get to see an – almost – completely different game.
