Playerunknown’s Battleground is the 4th game with the highest peak player count on Steam, closes to 5 million units

Playerunknown’s Battleground appears to be a huge success on the PC. According to Steamcharts, Bluehole’s battle-royale title has managed to top Grand Theft Auto V and has climbed in the 4th place of Steam’s games with the highest peak player count of all time. Not only that, but according to Steamspy, the game closes to 5 million sold copies, even though it’s still in its Early Access program. Might & Magic Showdown has been removed from Steam, servers to be shut down on July 31st

Back in January, Ubisoft released Might & Magic Showdown. And in just six months, the French company decided to cancel it and has already removed it from Steam. Now that is a huge flop. And to be honest, we aren’t really surprised by such a thing as this new Might & Magic game felt like a really niche title (and the Might & Magic series is already a niche genre so… yeah… it was to be expected). Rumour: Intel’s next generation i7 and i5 mainstream CPUs will feature more cores than their predecessors

Intel plans to released the eighth generation of its Core i7 CPUs, based on Coffee Lake, in the second half of 2017 and according to the latest rumours, the mainstream chips will feature more CPU cores than their predecessors. French website CPCHardware has shared some details about two Core i7 and two Core i5 models. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 & DRAGON BALL FighterZ betas will skip the PC

Konami and Bandai Namco announced that the scheduled beta testing for both Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 and DRAGON BALL FighterZ will skip the PC. The big publishers did not reveal the reasons why there won’t be any PC beta testing, however we are almost certain that this has to do with the usual data-mining that occurs on the PC platform. Bandai Namco revealed today more details about the gameplay of its acrobatic ninja battle action game, NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER. Developed by Soleil, this new action game enables players to compete online in 4 vs. 4 matches against other teams, with all eight ninjas fighting simultaneously to become elite ninja masters. AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition runs PREY & Rise of the Tomb Raider significantly slower than the NVIDIA GTX1080

DudeRandom84 has benched the AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition in PREY and Rise of the Tomb Raider, and shared his results (which are really interesting). PREY is a title that AMD chose to showcase its RX Vega GPU at Computex 2017, however it appears that AMD’s latest graphics is running this game noticeably slower than NVIDIA’s default GTX1080 GPU.
